This week, members of the Parks team have been spending time amongst some of the world’s most spectacular floral displays, by attending the famous Chelsea Flower Show. The celebrated flower show attended by the leading lights of the world of horticulture, alongside some of the UK’s best-loved lifestyle retailers.

A Parks stand was set up by our team, and more than 100 different floral-scented products have been on sale, including many of our most popular candles, diffusers and gift sets. Parks proudly supported RHS Chelsea Flower Show Charity Gala Preview, with our much-loved candles presented in special souvenir bags.

Blessed with soaring temperatures and sumptuous sunshine, plenty of horticulturists and green-fingered enthusiasts attended the event and took time to chat with the Parks team present (Jerzy, Alison, Linda, Stephanie, Nikki, Zainab, Isabelle and Federica).

Those who entered the Parks stand were even treated to a number of new products being showcased at the event. Our new Crystalline and Compact ranges were available, in ever-popular scents ranging from Lily of the Valley to Fresh Cut Garden Mint.

Bigger and better than ever, the Chelsea Flower Show 2017 featured roughly 400 different exhibitors, selling everything from the beautiful flowers on show to garden essentials and much more. Many famous faces made appearances at the show, including HRH Queen Elizabeth II, who visited on Monday, ahead of the crowds.

The Chelsea Flower Show has been a favourite with the royals for decades, and has been the most prestigious flower show in the UK ever since it started in 2013. More than 150,000 visitors attend the show every year, with on average, more than 10,000 glasses of champagne served.

The Chelsea Flower Show is also an awards ceremony, celebrating the best of horticulture the world over, this year’s big winners were James Basson, Kate Gould and Graham Bodle. Basson scooped the Best Show Garden for his M&G Garden, a striking garden made from a disused limestone quarry. Gould was awarded Best Living Garden for City Living, a delightful marriage of wild flowers and contemporary housing. Finally, Bodle scooped the Best Artisan Garden for Walker’s Wharf Garden, a unique outdoor space using retrieved quayside components.

Our Digital Marketing Manager, Jerzy Garlacz, had this to say about Parks attendance at Chelsea Flower Show 2017:

“RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2017 exceeded our expectations and we are very proud that we could be part of it. We can’t wait for next year to come and exhibit again.”
